Sport Video Player
Sport Video Player is a very easy to use video player designed to allow you play sport clips and take advantage of the powerful motion analysis tool included in the package.
Exclusively working with videos supported by Windows Media Player, the application boasts a fairly simple interface, which means you should have absolutely no problem in trying to figure out which feature is which.
A small video preview panel in the left side of the main window, plus a bunch of buttons to control video playback at the top create what can be easily considered a very basic look.
Besides the fact that it opens AVI files, Sport Video Player boasts what’s being called frame-by-frame review of last 5 seconds, which means you can see every single frame in the last 5 seconds and pause the video for further analyzing.
Thanks to the slow motion play, you’re enabled to observe certain sports moves better, while the dedicated zoom utility provides a closer look at any given area.
Obviously, Sport Video Player doesn’t need a supermachine to work properly, but we’ve noticed minor slowdowns when the application has to open large videos. Otherwise, it’s a decent application that runs on low hardware resources and gets along well with all Windows versions.
Overall, Sport Video Player does its job pretty well and provides some interesting features for this particular software segment.
Still, it needs some improvements, and the interface is the most obvious point that has to be revised in the future.
