Vooya is a handy and reliable application designed to play uncompressed raw video data in YUV or RGB for scientific use. It supports various data arrangements such as planar or interleaved, various color subsamplings and arbitrary bit depths.
It features a difference viewing tool, which also calculates PSNR and MSE. A magnifier helps to examine data. Drawing annotation is also possible. Link multiple players together to better compare video files. Vooya has a lot of GUI features, is lightweight and fast.
Here are some key features of "Vooya":
· Detects format and color space by file name (currently YUV and RGB are supported), 4:2:0, 4:2:2, 4:4:4 and arbitrary bit depths
· Drop / copy single frames
· Single color channel view
· Drawing annotations
· Magnifier, pixel-exact view
· Deinterlacing
· Difference mode
· PSNR / MSE measurements
· Multiplayer-Sync
· Can read Kakadu '.vix' files
