Converting video files from one format to another isn’t quite a difficult job, but the real challenge is now finding an app that does this thing quick and easy.
Of course, the market is full of software solutions claiming to rely exactly on these two attributes, so it’s usually just a matter of luck.
All Video Converter is aimed at users who want to convert a video file into multiple formats, coming with support for the most popular video extensions out there and offering some extra features.
The interface is clean and intuitive, so you don’t have to be an expert to find out the way you must use the application. File formats and their very own settings are organized in tabs, so just choose the one you wish to use, play a little bit with its options and that’s it.
In just a few words, All Video Converter supports the following formats: AVI, MP4, PSP, 3GP, WMV, RMVB, MPEG, FLV, SWF and QuickTime, as well as multiple audio and video compressors. You can set up the video seize and the frame rate, either using the predefined settings or your very own.
The conversion process doesn’t work quite smooth on Windows 7, as the application crashed several times during our test. It worked okay on Windows XP, so it’s probably just a compatibility issue with this version of Microsoft’s operating system.
Another setback is the fact that All Video Converter doesn’t come cheap, despite the fact that there are also some freeware alternatives on the market that could do a pretty good job.
But overall, it’s still worth a chance, not only because it works with so many formats, but also thanks to the fact that it’s full of settings and does an impressive conversion job.
