My Screen Recorder is an application that enables you to record the activity of your screen to a video file.
The interface of the software is simple and intuitive. So, you can record the entire screen or a fixed region, enable audio (from microphone or speakers), select the output format (AVI or WMV) and resolution, and proceed with the process.
Furthermore, you can play media files in a built-in player, configure audio settings (e.g. playback device, volume) and use a search function for media tools.
In "Settings", you can disable My Screen Recorder from displaying the countdown when starting a recording, set the temporary working folder, change the color scheme and language, as well as exclude the mouse cursor from the recording.
But you can also capture translucent windows, boost the screen recording performance, select the video profile, add metadata information to the clip, configure keyboard shortcuts for recording, and more. Settings can be restored to their default values
The application runs on a moderate amount of system resources, includes a comprehensive help file with snapshots and we haven't come across any errors. The image quality of the output video is good, but not excellent (regarding fps), and My Screen Recorder takes a few seconds to initialize.
The trial version displays a watermark on the video. All in all, we recommend this tool to all users, since it comes packed with all the necessary elements for screen recording.
