One of the possible choices is SecureCam, a rather lightweight program that comes with quite a lot of functions neatly tucked inside a small package. The main strong point of this tool is the ease of use which makes it suitable for all users, beginners or more experienced ones.

The motion triggered recording can be activated with a single click and you can customize its parameters in detail. Thus, you can set the motion level that will start the capture and other options which include save count, opacity levels and more.

Insofar as the output is concerned, with SecureCam you can opt for either MJPEG video or JPEG images and there is also the possibility to pick a maximum number of pictures to be taken. Another useful setting you can adjust manually is the time interval for the images to be saved.

As many would expect from such a software solution, scheduling the recording is possible and you can select specific days of the week and exact time frames for the program do do its job. In case you are not satisfied with the quality of the video, there is a handful of tweaks that can be made.

SecureCam allows you to flip the image either horizontally or vertically and add a rotation angle by selecting the desired value form a drop-down menu. When it comes to the screenshots, you can only input the quality, from 1 to 100, in the corresponding field.

The application offers a pretty nice experience as a whole, thanks to the decent feature pack and, especially, to its evident ease of use.
