In order to view the images or videos created by digital cameras, you need a program that supports their specific formats. ViewNX is an application that allows you to transfer multimedia files shot with a Nikon digital camera to the computer, view and edit them.

The program displays a user-friendly interface that includes separate panes for file browsing and picture viewing. Among the supported formats you can find NEF, TIFF (RGB) and JPEG, movies (AVI, MOV format), WAV and NDF.

ViewNX includes a transfer feature designed to help you safely copy the pictures from your camera to your PC. The application provides you with multiple methods for viewing pictures.

With the help of this utility, you are able to organize uploaded items into favorite folders, assign labels and ratings as well as filter and rotate them.

You can rest assured as you have other tools at your disposal to enhance your pictures. For example, you can modify the exposure, white balance, sharpness, contrast and brightness, as well as remove red eyes and crop photos.
