ERN allows your network / server / desktop administrator to control all of your servers and desktops from one tool. The aim is to allow you to do anything you could if you were at their machine.
You can do all these from your computer and when possible it allows you to make the change to multiple computers. This tool will allow you to push patches, make registry changes, reboot computers, kill processes, examine event logs, all from one location.
Currently Windows and SQL Server are the only platforms but the SQL is all self contained so porting it to MySQL or other RDBMS shouldn't be a problem.
