Super Proxy Helper 1.1.0

Browsing the web anonymously isn’t such a difficult job if you’re using the right application and Super Proxy Helper claims it can really lend you a hand this time.

The program comes with a great pack of features that enable you to see the current status of your Internet connection, but also look for new proxies, ping a host or perform a whois.

Although it’s more like a suite of tools, using Super Proxy Helper is a breeze, especially because the app is based on a tabbed look that provides instant access to each of these features.

The “Status” screen for instance shows the Internet connection, current and real IP, as well as proxy server information, such as IP and port.

The “Proxy” tab on the other hand comes with a greater amount of information, letting you check a specific list of proxies, export or import lists, download proxies from the Internet and much more. You can obviously see plenty of information concerning the proxies, including server IP, port, protocol, status, time, type and country.

Most other tools come with self-explanatory names, so the “IP to Country” feature lets you find out the country of a specific IP, while the whois tool helps you find more information on a domain or an IP.

Super Proxy Helper doesn’t hamper system performance, but we’ve noticed some problems on Windows 7 machines during our test. The proxy checking process cannot be started and the program becomes unresponsive for a few seconds.

Overall however, Super Proxy Helper can really help a handful of users, offering a decent pack of features mixed with a clean and well-organized design.
