View general and detailed informationFirst and foremost, you are required to scan your local area connection (LAN) in order to find all computers connected. Once this process is over, you can view details regarding each and every one such as IP and MAC address, machine name, domain/workgroup, system name, total memory, video card, connected printer, operating system, install date, default language, BIOS name and system up time.
In addition to that, you can view a list of all installed applications, the ones that require an update, shared items, monitor info, printers, logical and CD drives, processor, network cards and notes (if any).
Generate reports using one of the many formats supportedIt is important to keep in mind that you can customize all the data aforementioned and export it using XLS, DOC, RTF, HTML, XML, BDF, PDF, TXT, CSV, DIF, SYLK and SQL file formats, as well as copy it to the Clipboard. You can also create an exclusion list, based on their IP ore machine name, view logs and save them to the HDD as a LOG file.
Conclusion and performanceThe amount of resources required is low at all times and thus, the system’s performance is not going to be hampered. The response time is good, the interface is simple-to-handle, the export capabilities are quite impressive and we did not pick up on any errors or bugs in our tests.
