FileAnnounce 1.1

FileAnnounce is an application that monitors network directories / LAN shares used for document sharing and alerts users (via email) whenever a new document is added to the directory tree, removed from it, or moved from one sub-directory to another.

The email notifies users precisely what has changed - in plain English, just like a human would type it. The notification period is adjustable from one minute to a day.

An ongoing log file of all the adds/deletes/moves/copies is also saved. You can specify any directory as parent, and exclude any sub-directories from monitoring.

This product was originally created for a large telecommunications company in Australia, for whom it saved much manual notification effort and ensured all users received timely advice of new files being added, files being archived or other changes in the directory tree.
