Moo0 Connection Watcher

Moo0 ConnectionWatcher is a simple yet powerful software solution developed to monitor network traffic and show all connections along with a great amount of information.

The one-window program GUI plays the key role, with all information displayed in a very well-organized layout, while at the same time it also provides access to a bunch of configuration settings.

Moo0 ConnectionWatcher shows all incoming and outgoing TCP and UDP connections, along with details such as state, process ID and name, local user and port, remote IP and port, received and sent traffic, duration and process path.

The status bar is being used to show the total number of connections, as well as incoming and outgoing traffic, with a graph to help you keep an eye on network activity.

There are only a few settings to play with, allowing you to configure refresh frequency, suspend logging, enable host name resolution, keep the window always on top, choose another skin or start the program on system boot.

But the good thing is that right-clicking any of the listed connections allows you to locate the program or see its properties, disconnect it, close or kill the process, but keep in mind that administrator privileges are needed for these actions.

There’s no help file included in the application, but given the fact that this isn’t quite the kind of tool aimed at beginners, everything should be quite fine.

All things considered, Moo0 ConnectionWatcher is one of the best tools of its kind, providing not only a well-organized interface, but also plenty of vital information concerning the existing connections. A few improvements here and there and it could easily become a five-star product.
