TMeter will analyze network traffic and the Internet connection for your computer. Using TMeter, you can produce a flexible and accurate count of traffic on any ground (IP address of the source / destination, protocol, port, etc.) in real time with immediate output on screen the collected statistics in graphic or digital form.
TMeter has its own mechanism for NAT, which allows users to provide Internet access through a gateway computer, using a single external IP address and built-in firewall solves the problem of protecting your network from unauthorized access. The implementation of the traffic-shaper in TMeter allows you to restrict access speed (eg 256 kbit / c) for specific users and / or services.
Here are some key features of "TMeter":
· Accounting for individual host traffic on any IP protocol (TCP / UDP port)
· Account of the traffic on the local computer name of the process
· Graphical representation of the form of counters in the form of a curve
· Automatic daily and / or monthly reports generation of counters
· Logging counted packets to a file or database
· Ability to block traffic when you reach the specified limit
· Remote monitoring of traffic counters to certain users
· Own agent authorization - addressing spoofing IP-and MAC-
· Simultaneous collection of traffic from multiple network adapters
· Account of the traffic on behalf of the user terminal server
· The possibility of speed limits (Traffic Shaper aka Speed Control)
· Own mechanism for NAT, which allows users of the network to provide Internet access through a single IP address
· Own DNS server for DNS-service user requests the local network
· Firewall (packet filtering function analysis of the connection)
· URL Filtering (ability to block WEB-queries for the keyword in the address, the creation of "black" and "white" lists of WEB-sites)
· Monitoring hosts periodic "pinging" and determine the status of the host ("Enable / Disable"). Logging-time status change in the log host or database. Ability to track the appearance / disappearance of MAC-addresses on the LAN.
· Own driver capturing or capture packets via Cisco Netflow v.5 (with multiple Cisco routers at the same time)
Limitations:
· Can us up to 3 traffic filters
