Although it may seem pretty easy to use when you first launch it, Medieval Bluetooth Diagnostic Tool is not the kind of app addressed to beginners and there's not even a help file included in the app to lend you a hand in case you get yourself in trouble.

On the other hand, more advanced users may be delighted with the amount of information the program provides. The main window is being used to display the major and minor device classes, device name and device address, while double clicking any of the entries opens a separate screen with even more information.

The “Device Details” window shows not only the aforementioned information, but also the services associated with each device, comments, service UUID and ports being used.

As you can see, the amount of features is not impressive, but Medieval Bluetooth Diagnostic Tool gets the job done in a pretty quick way, while remaining very light on hardware resources most of the time.

While it works very well on Windows XP and older operating systems, it has some compatibility issues with Windows 7 and sometimes freezes all of a sudden.
