WinSSHTerm Portable

If you're looking for a user-friendly graphical interface for the PuTTY or KiTTY terminal emulators, you can turn to WinSSHTerm Portable. Designed as the no-install counterpart of WinSSHTerm, this app features intuitive controls and puts emphasis on increased productivity via hotkey support.

To run scripts on remote systems without opening a terminal, you can use "Script Runner" by installing Plink (for example, this can be used for swiftly collecting info about a group of machines).

The public key authentication method is recommended as far as security goes, instead of regular passwords. If you separately set up Pageant, it can be used for loading and forwarding your private keys. If you do decide to use passwords, though, you can protect all of them with a master password.

By enabling "Multi-Input" mode, you can create and load scripts. Meanwhile, "Cluster Control Mode" can be used to view more than four terminals simultaneously. You can export shared connections to file, maximize the workspace by switching to fullscreen mode (this also hides the menu bar), review past connections in a history window, and run searches.

The interface can be customized when it comes to the font size, copy and paste mode, cursor type and behavior, terminal type, color scheme, and other aspects. You can also opt of a dark theme instead of light. Shortcuts can be assigned for navigation (e.g. switch to next or previous tab), search (e.g. force open connection) and history (move up and down in list).
