The Windows clipboard is one of the most useful features, even though it only comes with a single operable slot. Luckily, developers came out with methods to enhance this small tool and make it hold more entries. ClipBuffers is one suitable example in this regard, letting you save in permanent slots and paste through hotkeys.

Once installed and launched, the application automatically minimizes to the tray area, and is the place where it stays unless you want to manually go through all buffers, or edit any options. It’s also configured to start with Windows by default so that it’s ready by the time you reach the desktop.

It’s a good idea to bring up the configuration window to at least view all the controls you get to use. For starters, clipboard slots are split into two categories. One of them is the history if the current computer usage session, while the other permanently saves all entries in the buffer.
