Clipboard Magic is a freeware Windows Clipboard archiving tool. Any text copied to the Windows clipboard is automatically archived in Clipboard Magic.
This text may be copied back to the clipboard with a click of the mouse. Text may also be edited and added manually. Clipboard lists may be saved to a file to be loaded later. Clipboard Magic is a software that archives text copied to the clipboard.
Features include drag and drop, clip management and serial paste hotkeys. Many options exist including search and replace, stay on top of other windows and ability to suspend archiving. Runs from the system tray for quick access. Capable of supporting many languages.

This latest release contains several important new features to make copying and pasting texteasier and more efficient. Clipboard Magic users can end up with many clips in one list that are difficult to differentiate between. For example, a technical support analyst using Clipboard Magic can have many similar canned responses that are hard to keep track of. Two new features in Clipboard Magic 5 can greatly help with this problem. In the new version, clips can now be assigned a short descriptive label to make particular clips easier to find in a long list. Users can now also color-code clips to quickly visually organize the clips into different types.
