The Freeware Spell Checker application was written to scratch an itch. The itch was a combination of my own very poor spelling ability (or rather lack of) And the incapbility for some applications that
don’t provide a spell checker, when they should.

The main mission of Freeware Spell Checker is to provide a cross platform spell checking utility where others fail.
