Address Flipper is an application that helps you store all your friend's addresses in.
Includes 2 name fields for all those Internet friends that you know rather by alias-name than by RealLife name
Why did I write this thing? Well, I needed a small and convenient app to store my addresses in, just in case something happens to my paper-based address book.
Since a lot of available applications out there are either too large to install just for a few addresses, or didn't give me the functions that I wanted (like having *two* name fields, one for the alias), I sat down and programmed this little gem.
What's New in This Release: [ read full changelog ]
· Corrected a number of problems in Spanish. More changes will be made in the near future but I will simply put up a new version without this kind of announcement for those changes.
· Changed the "first run" update behaviour: it should now only check the website if the settings file already exists. (Changed from v2.30 behaviour where it would always check the version on first run without previous setup). I, myself, don't like it when the first thing a program does when starting for the first time is making an Internet connection. I definitely don't want to inflict that on others
· Changed the donation link, PayPal would present a Dutch page at all times (regardless of my settings), based solely on the registered address of my account. Rather narrow minded if you ask me. It should be fixed now.
· Known issue: Not all text has been "internationalised" yet. This will be done in future releases. Most of note are warning/confirmation boxes.
