Keeping our professional and private lives organized can be a bit of a chore sometimes. Planner is a program that can help you manage all the things you need to do in a day, both at work and at home.

The app has a simple and clean interface, with an intuitive layout that should be easy to navigate.

All notes can be filed under several categories, such as “To-do”, “Planned”, “Unplanned” and “Agreements”. Each type of task comes with a different form you must fill out. For example, tasks only require that you write down what you must do and set up a priority level (low, medium, high and today).

For the planned and unplanned tasks that you must perform, more details need to be provided. Thus, you can choose a client, the name of the project the entry is part of, the stage of completion, a task note, estimated time needed to finish the job, priority level (low, medium and high), as well as the start and end date.

When a task is done, it can be crossed off the list by simply marking it as “Done”. Also, all tasks can be duplicated and the completed ones can be removed with just the click of a button.

To help you locate an entry in a timely manner, the program comes with a few filters. For instance, it may display all events, or only those deemed relevant. The app can report only the planned  tasks and to hide all completed entries. You can view only the tasks that need to be completed in the same day.

The bottom line is that Planner can quickly become a tool that is used daily. Inexperienced users should find the program easy to work with, particularly thanks to its overall simplicity.
