Upon launch, you are welcomed by a fresh and engaging panel that provides you with a summary of the latest events due, notes created or received, bookmarks to various websites you visited or tasks that you need to attend to.

In the eventuality that you need to see more details about your entries, you can collapse the panel and increase the vertical splitter width from the context menu. However, if you create a new task, receive a new note or send an email, you can preview it in the dashboard after you hit refresh. It would have been nice if the app restored the events automatically for more convenience.

The highlight of the utility stems from the numerous pre-defined categories it comes with, groups that simplify how you manage the information that you want to store. The application enables you to add, edit and delete events from the customizable calendar and customize appointments using smart reminders, resizing, flags and colors. If you have an important event coming up, you can make sure that you are not going to miss it.

The program allows you to manage other tasks, contacts, journals, emails and reports in a similar flexible manner. It is important to note that all the information you add is stored in a single database that is stored locally, whereas the data that you can include is unlimited.

A further noteworthy function of the application is the note editor, a feature that comes with spell check and auto correct. You should know that the editor does not only provide you with tools to create text memos, but it also allows you to add tables, images, auto-enumerated lists and URLs.

While it is true that it works with just a few file formats, the app permits you to import images (BMP, PNG and JPG) as well as texts (DOC, TXT and RTF). Moreover, it comes with a comprehensive noteboard function that you can use for mind mapping or brainstorming.
