Mighty Fax lets you send and receive faxes without a fax machine.

MightyFax is software that communicates with your faxmodem to send and receive faxes. You can fax directly from Windows software, including Microsoft Word or any other Windows software, directly to MightyFax. You do this by printing to the MightyFax printer, which creates a fax file out of your print job, and passes it to MightyFax for transmission as a fax.

MightyFax works directly with the modem. It does not use your Internet connection, if you use a dial-up Internet service. Just as you cannot use a fax machine while also using the Internet on the same telephone line, you cannot use MightyFax and your Internet connection at the same time.

Fax directly from Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, scanner software, and any other Windows program. If you can print it, you can fax it with Mighty Fax.

All you need to use our fax program is a telephone line and the modem you already have in your computer.

Setting up is easy, and in most cases you can simply run the installation program and immediately start creating, sending and receiving faxes from your pc.

MightyFax can also print incoming faxes as they are received, just like a fax machine. It works with all modems, and is compatible with calling cards and other special dialing requirements.

Maintain a fax history file containing any number of faxes. Sort faxes by date, subject, and recipient. Save faxes as standard Windows Bitmap or multi-page TIF files so that they can be converted to editable text with your Optical Character Recognition (OCR) program.

Requirements:

· Pentium or better with 32MB memory preferred.
· Hard disk with at least 2 MB available.
· MightyFax will not install or run on "server" operating systems (i.e. Windows 2003 Server). Please note that Windows Vista is not yet supported. (more info here)
· Screen resolution of 800 x 600 or better.
· A standard Faxmodem and telephone line.
