Asman Search and Replace is a user-friendly and effective piece of software developed to assist you in switching a word from a written document with another term, enabling you to process multiple files in batch and replace up to seventy different items.

Since it is a portable application, after downloading it, you can go ahead and unzip the archive, then run the executable, to get started with it.

Because it does not experience a setup process, it does not affect the registry of the host computer. This also means that you can carry Asman Search and Replace with you on a removable memory device and use it on all compatible systems.

To begin with, you need to define the formats that you intend to work with by checking the corresponding box. Asman Search and Replace supports TXT, HTML, HTML, XML, PHP, SUB, SRT and RTF documents. Afterward, you can press the ‘Add Files From Folder’ button to choose the directory storing the items you want to process.

The program will only load the files with the selected extensions, after which you can begin inputting the ‘Search For’ and ‘Replace With’ items. You even have the possibility to replace lowercase words with their uppercase equivalent, as the tool ensures case sensitivity.

You can input up to seventy different entries, but only the ones whose box you tick, will be applied to the documents when pressing ‘Replace Text From All Files’. All these configuration options are saved and stored in the same folder as the utility, so you will be able to use them again the next time you run it.
