Batch Print SW

Batch Print SW is a software application specialized in converting and printing multiple SolidWorks documents at the same time. It can produce PDF, JPG, DXF, DWG, TIF, CATIA, STEP, eDrawings, STL or IGES file formats.

Installing this tool doesn't take long. It cannot work unless you have SolidWorks, Microsoft Excel and .NET Framework installed. As far as the interface is concerned, Batch Print SW seems cluttered at first sight. However, a closer look reveals that it show tips on how to carry out a task. Also, it has many options spread into different tabs.

You can begin by choosing the files you want to process. This can be done by drag and drop, loading a list of files from an Excel spreadsheet, or by scanning a folder for all files. The supported filetypes are .sld, .sldprt, .sldasm, .slddrw, .prt, .sldprt, .asm, .sldasm, .drw and .slddrw.

The list of files in the task list can be exported to Excel format. This way, it can be later opened to pick up where you left off. In the following step of Batch Print SW, you can explore the array of actions that can be made with this utility, such as converting, zipping or text replacing.

It's possible to configure printing settings (drawing orientation, number of copies, scale), select the preferred output format for printing, as well as find and replace text using one or multiple pairs of strings. The flat pattern can also be exported to DWG or DXF format.

You can save the configuration properties as other filetypes, such as Parasolid, ACIS, ProE part, CATIA or drawings. Before proceeding with the conversion operation, you can ask the tool to process only the active sheet or a specific one by specifying the number, or all sheets.

The software tool worked smoothly on Windows 10 in our tests. It had minimal impact on the computer's performance and carried out tasks swiftly. All aspects considered, Batch Print SW turns out to be a speedy and comprehensive application for converting SolidWorks documents and performing other actions.
