Create and edit large datasets with a statistical tool that allows importing data from external sources such as MySQL and Postgres, and using response surface methodologies. #Database Editor #Statistical Analysis #Diagnostic Tool #Diagnostic #Statistical #Database
Grapheme is a super-complex and solid app that allows performing extensive statistical analysis, plus database and task flow editing. At the same time, the powerful program enables impressive 2D and 3D visual representations and granular data filtering and manipulation.
Upon creating a new project, the user must opt for one of the program's six options: Database Explorer, Grapher Macros, Statistical Analysis, Grapher, Response Surfaces, or Taskflow Editor. Regardless of the chosen option, all the data that was inserted alongside filters, settings, arrangements, and diagrams/statistical charts are saved in a project directory that contains all the resources neatly structured in distinct subdirectories.
Importing data and managing or editing databases or external sources can be done as well (SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Firebird, Postgres, etc). The tool must be up to date and its components must be in place. As a result, the data can be accurately displayed and filtered inside the program. From the top bar, in the 'Help' section, users must select, consecutively, the following options: 'Check for updates' (in case you did not install the latest version) and 'Install New Software' — the last one will install all the necessary components for adding and accurately managing newly imported files.
Grapheme is a complex tool that displays, in a calibrated manner, 2D and 3D interactive charts. Its flexible mechanisms enable access to different statistical analysis panels — like Six-Sigma, Clustering, and Regressions algorithms. Moreover, charts and tables get interconnected, so attaching in-chart data to external resources or references can be done easier. In this way, Grapheme enables examining and filtering existing large datasets for generating new ones.
The program is capable of both sustaining and training users' effort of creating and using the response surface methodology (a methodology used in statistical analysis that explores the correlation between analytical and response variables). Some of the available response surface algorithms offered by the program are K-Nearest, Kriging, Radial Basis Functions, Polynomial, and Neural Networks.
When it comes to evaluating complex data sets, planning, and interpreting the results, the DOE (Design of Experiments) module enables access to the following design principles: Box Behnken, D-Optimal, Latin Cubes, Latin Squares, Montecarlo, Sobol, and Taguchi. With the 'Data Analysis Taskflow' feature, information can be chained for visually manipulating imported datasets.
Considering Grapheme's complexity and varied capabilities (alongside its rich documentation), the tool is well suited for both experienced data analysts and beginners, as it allows using advanced data manipulation techniques and creating visually appealing models.
