Image Albums is a useful and reliable Microsoft Access presentation and storage application that was designed to let you to organize your images in a database.
Powerful and yet easy to use, the application has been utilised by professional photographers, geneaologists, medical professionals, graphic designers, botanists and home enthusiasts to help maintain quick and easily accessible image databases.
Image Albums allows you to store the following image formats: · JPEG File Interchange Format (.jpg see note below) · Graphic Interchange Format (.gif see note below) · Windows bitmap (.bmp) · Tag Image File Format (.tif see note below) · Windows Metafile (.wmf) · Icon (.ico)
Here are some key features of "Image Albums":
· Share the image database over your local area network. · Store information about your images and albums using intrinsic and custom data fields. · Quickly print your images and image data. · Search your custom data fields via an advanced search facility. · Create, edit and delete your own albums. · Run customized album slide shows. · Choose to either link or embed your images in the database. · Easily create a website from your image database. · Customize the appearance of the application using the themes option.
Requirements:
· PC with Pentium 200 MHz or higher processor · 8 MB of RAM for Access · Memory: Your specific Operating System requirements plus an additional 8 MB of RAM for Access. · Hard Disk: For embedded mode you will require free space equivalent to the overall size of your database. · Display: Super VGA (800 × 600) or higher-resolution monitor with 256 colors. · Microsoft Access 2000 or later (Microsoft® Office Professional Edition or Microsoft® Office Premier Edition are however recommended.)
Note: GIF, JPEG and TIFF require separate graphics filters. The separate graphics filters are not supplied with the stand-alone version of Microsoft® Access. To use the filters, you need to install Microsoft® Office Professional Edition, Microsoft® Office Premier Edition, or a stand-alone version of Microsoft® Word along with your stand-alone version of Access. TIFF files are only supported if you are using Access 2000/2002
