Massive DAT Editor is a program with a pretty self-explanatory name - it allows you to edit multiple DAT files at the same time, in order to get ahold of sources for the "Simutrans" transportation simulation game.
After a brief setup procedure, you are welcomed by a standard window with a simple layout.
So, you can load DAT items into the working environment by using only the folder view, since the "drag and drop" functionality is not supported.
So, you can view a database with names, authors, ways, engines, freights, payloads, speed, power, weights, gears and costs for all objects in a DAT data file, along with pictures from DAT images, displayed in a grid.
In addition, you can check image names, convert file names to lowercase, as well as save all modifications made to the file.
Massive DAT Editor runs on a low-to-moderate quantity of CPU and system memory, so it shouldn't affect the computer's overall performance. It has a good response time and displays information rapidly, without making the operating system freeze, crash or alert of us any error popups. All in all, Massive DAT Editor can be handled by all fans of the "Simutrans" video game who want to edit DAT files.
