SL Checkbook includes intuitive procdures for adding, changing and deleting entries along with powerful search, summary, and graphing capabilities. The balancing screen will make it easy for you to balance your account.

To start a new checkbook select "New Checkbook" from the "File" menu.

To use SL Checkbook you will at some time start a new checkbook. Just fill in the account information and the beginning balance. To keep wandering eyes from viewing your checkbook you can assign a password to your checkbook at this point.

If you assign a password whenever you open a checkbook the program will ask you for the checkbook password. If someone else tries to open your checkbook and they don't know your password the program will not load it.

If you don't type anything in the password then the program will not ask you for one when you open your checkbook. If you change your mind you can assign or remove a password at any time by accessing the password screen.
