The Shingler application was designed to be a small utility to determine how much to shingle(creep) your job.

The values used for each paper were obtained from www.paper-paper.com/weight.html. If anyone is using Metrix... you will find that the numbers they use are almost identical.

The utility uses the calculation that follows: ((Pages/ 4)-1)*thickness. The reason for the -1 in the middle of the calculation is because you don't need to shingle one of the spreads as it is the basis for all of the others. This is the same calculation used by Metrix.
