StarOffice IFilter lets you index and search StarOffice, OpenOffice and OASIS OpenDocument files.

It extends Microsoft Indexing Service to extract metadata and content from Writer, Global, Calc, Impress, Draw and Math files.

StarOffice IFilter supports Windows SharePoint Services (WSS), Site Server, Internet Information Server, SharePoint Portal Server, Exchange, SQL Server and all other products based on Microsoft Search technology.

When installed on Windows desktop operating systems StarOffice IFilter seamlessly integrates with MSN Desktop Search, Indexing Service and Windows File Search.
