facsBridge T37FSP is a Windows fax driver that bridges the gap between Internet Fax Gateway and Windows Fax Service, so that you can enjoy intuitive and easy to use Windows desktop faxing.
The product provides native Windows Fax Service / Windows Fax Printer integration with 3rd party Internet Fax Service Providers or devices that offer email-to-fax gateway (like cisco fax-enabled integrated services router).
More technically, facsBridge T37FSP is a Windows Fax over IP driver (email-to-fax and fax-to-email), capable of sending store-and-forward facsimile, as defined in ITU-T recommendation T.37.
Fax Service and Fax Printer. Availability of Internet Fax Service Provider with e-mail-to-fax gateway, or T.37-compatible device (like cisco fax-enabled router), is required. In addition, it will facilitate sending faxes using Windows COM interfaces, while also being fully integrated with Windows XP fax console.
Receiving faxes from cisco fax-enabled routers is also supported. Includes inbound faxes routing extension (Windows Server 2003/2008) to forward received faxes to an appropriate email address based on called fax number (utilising DID, Direct Inward Dialing).
T37FSP can be considered as an alternative to the Cisco Unity IP Fax Service (Unity's faxmail feature), bringing the advantage of Windows Fax Service integration.
As an extra feature, facsBridge for Office configures Microsoft Office 2003 / 2007 to interface with an Internet Fax Service Provider instantly to take advantage of the Microsoft Office Document Imaging (MODI) printer.
Includes support for scalable real-time/ synchronous outbound faxing with cisco fax gateways, and f2eRouter integrated with Active Directory and Exchange Pickup Directory.
