The installation process is a piece of cake, as it does not last more than a few seconds, and it does not offer to add products that are not actually needed in order for this app to work properly. When you are done with it, you come face to face with a well-structured and simple UI. It is comprised of a menu bar, several buttons and a few panels in which to display the uploaded text, as well as the actors, use cases, classes and attributes input by you. It becomes quite clear that it is suitable to beginners and highly experienced people alike.
Select information, categorize it and save it to the hard drive
This software tool enables you to only upload TXT documents, with the help of a file browser, as the “drag and drop” function is not integrated. At export, you can save all the data input to a XML or TXT format.
In addition to that, it is possible to select certain parts of the text in order to input the actors, use cases, classes and attributes. You should know you can do this by clicking on the appropriately-labeled button, or by selecting an entry from the context menu.
All in all, Text Analysis Tool is a simple, yet pretty efficient piece of software. It does not put a strain on the computer’s performance, all tasks are performed in due time and the interface is suitable to all types of users.
