Smart PDF Converter

PDF files are quite popular, but are not supported by all tools you might be using, especially when it comes to editing. Smart PDF Converter is a program with a pretty self-explanatory title - it allows you to convert PDF documents to other formats, such as RTF, DOC, HTML, TXT and JPG.

The interface of the application is very clean and easy to navigate through. PDF documents can be imported into the queue by using either the file browser or the "drag and drop" method. Batch processing is allowed.

All you have to do is specify the output extension and directory, in order to proceed with the conversion process. The output format is selected from a dedicated field, with options for RTF, DOC, HTML, TXT, XLS, PPT, TIFF, and JPG.

You can preview documents, zoom in and out, as well as go to the next or previous page, and this is all done in the main window, providing comfortable navigation and preview.

On top of that, you can configure options for each output format when it comes to the conversion method (exact, flowing, no images, simple text, auto-rotate page), Excel sheets (e.g. each table on a separate sheet), orientation, background color, and others.

The output file format settings panel presents individual tabs for management of supported formats, just so you get the desired result and properly integrated into the new form.

The PDF conversion program takes up a moderate amount of system resources, includes a comprehensive help file with screenshots and quickly finishes a task while preserving a very good quality regarding images, shapes and text.

To sum it up, the application comes with a comfortable set of tools which allows easy conversion of one or more PDF documents to a whole variety of files. No errors have occurred during our tests and Smart PDF Converter did not freeze or crash.
