There’s not much to brag about the layout, as you are welcomed by a compact GUI that offers only a few dedicated parameters to tinker with. On the downside, there’s no support for a built-in previewing mode.
PDFs can be added in the working environment using the built-in browse button or drag-and-drop support. Additionally, you can view details about each item, such as name, path, total number of pages, and size.
PDF Combiner gives you the possibility to generate a list with the PDFs that you want to merge, pick the desired order in the output file by moving items up or down, remove the selected files from the list, as well as specify the pages that you want to include in the process. You can save the merged PDF to a user-defined location from your computer and pick a filename.
Additionally, you can make the program open the created document at the end of the task and open the PDF files included in the list by performing a double-click mouse operation. It is important to mention that the tool is able to process encrypted PDFs as well, provided that you have specified the correct password.
Tests have shown that PDF Combiner carries out a task quickly and provides very good output results. It is quite friendly with system resources, so the overall performance of the computer is not affected.
All in all, PDF Combiner offers a straightforward approach when it comes to helping you combine multiple PDFs into a large PDF item. Thanks to its intuitive layout, it is suitable for rookies and professionals alike.
