PDF File Converter 2.12

As its title suggest, PDF File Converter is a program that enables you to convert PDF documents to several file formats, including DOC, DOCX, TXT, HTML, XLS and JPEG.

The interface of the software is clean and intuitive. You can import a PDF document by using the file browser (the "drag and drop" method and batch processing are not supported).

After you select the output extension, you can configure settings regarding the conversion method for Word (exact, flowing, no images, simple text).

But you can also modify options when it comes to HTML (e.g. each page in a separate HTML file), Excel (e.g. all pages on a single Excel sheet), JPEG (specify the resolution and quality) and TIFF (set the resolution).

Now you can set the output directory and name in order to initialize the conversion process. When it's done, you can open the output file or folder to view results. In addition, you can go to the first, last, previous or next page in the PDF document, as well as zoom in and out.

The application runs on a moderate-to-high amount of system resources and doesn't have a help file available. Tasks are completed quickly and PDF File Converter doesn't pop up any errors.

The text and image format is generally well kept in the output files. Keep in mind that if you don't obtain the desired results at the first attempt, then you can experiment with different settings. But the biggest downside of PDF File Converter is the fact that batch conversion is not supported.

All in all, PDF File Converter is a very good program for converting PDF documents and we strongly recommend it to all users.
