PDF to Word is a program with a title that speaks for itself - it can convert PDF documents to the DOC extension.

The interface of the software consists of a standard wizard in which you can quickly follow some simple steps.

You start by specifying the PDF document you wish to convert from a location since the "drag and drop" method and batch processing are not supported. This is a severe limitation since other products on the market provide these time-saving features.

Also, you can input a password (if the document is protected), set up an output directory and assign a name, as well as enable PDF to Word to convert PDF graphics and tables. The application is capable of inserting line breaks on its own.

In the next step, you can select between two conversion modes: "exact" (preserves the original layout by using Word frames, but the document could be harder to edit) or "flowing" (keeps text flow and makes the file easier to edit, but the text could appear different from the original).

After you select the page range, you can initiate the conversion process. It takes a short amount of time to complete the action, and you can set PDF to Word application to open the output on program exit.

The program requires a very low amount of system resources and quickly finishes a task without freezing, crashing or popping up any errors. However, the interface looks outdated and it is not very appealing.

The results are excellent, as the format of the output text is very well maintained. Unfortunately, the demo version replaces random characters with asterisks.
