PDF to ePub Converter 3.0.6
Converts PDF, HTML and TEXT files to ePub format
The interface of the tool consists of a wizard where you can take a few steps to get the job done. After selecting the conversion method (PDF to ePub or HTML, XHTML and XML to ePub), you can import items into the file queue with the help of the file browser ('drag and drop' is not supported).
Handling multiple entries at the same time is allowed. In the file list you can find out the name and format of each item.
Beside choosing the target folder, PDF to ePub Converter also allows you to configure conversion settings in regard to the parse mode (automatic, strict, imaging).
But you can also select the font scale and image DPI, input the PDF password (if it's required), as well as make the app automatically overwrite existing files, ignore images, vector graphs and links, just to name a few.
The program needs a moderate amount of system resources, is pretty responsive and finishes a task in reasonable time. We have not come across any errors in our testing and PDF to ePub Converter did not freeze or crash. The output files have a good quality regarding images and the text layout.
Unfortunately, there are no configurable program settings available, such as minimizing PDF to ePub Converter to the system tray or making it open the output directory when all tasks are done.
