Scan to PDF is an application that enables you to create PDF files from images. It can be used by individuals of any level of experience.
The interface of the tool is uncomplicated and easy to work with. Items can be imported into the file list by using either the file browser, tree view or 'drag and drop' function. Processing multiple items simultaneously is possible.
So, you can load images from the local drives or external devices. Once you establish the output directory and file type, the conversion procedure is automatically initialized.
Furthermore, you can set Scan to PDF to launch the default email client after saving PDFs in order to send them, open the default save folder and view the last saved PDF document. Settings can be saved and exported for further use.
From the 'Options' are you can change the interface language, insert command-line parameters and specify the hotkeys for capturing. Also, you can set the default folder for importing items, set Scan to PDF to sort files by name, add plugins and edit PDF metadata (document information, security, restrictions, viewer preferences, format).
The program uses a moderate amount of CPU and system memory, has a good response time and quickly finishes a task while delivering files with a good image quality. We have not come across any problems during our tests. There's also a help file available.
