Bifocal Notepad is a simplified Notepad replacement intended for use by the visually impaired, or by anyone who is tired of squinting at tiny text files in the regular Windows Notepad.

Bifocal Notepad may be of particular use to anyone with a screen resolution of 1024 or greater. The default screen font has been increased to 12 pt, and may be increased to a very large 40 pt.

All functions are accessed through jumbo-sized buttons with large text labels. The file open/save dialogue box has been replaced with a new, easier to read version, and all font size/type and background colour controls are conveniently placed on the main screen.

Bifocal Notepad can be used either as a Notepad replacement or as a text editor (ie, it will load text files from Windows Explorer if it associated with text files).
