RussianEditor is very useful notepad-like editor software that allows users to write in russian on latin based Windows.

This program assists you when you are working in Russian with e-mails, advanced word processors, search engines and manipulating different text formats. It also enable you to convert Russian Cyrillic text into Latin transcripts and translitteration.

The editor uses an on screen keyboard which display both the native Latin characters
and the characters which are used when editing.

The Latin keyboard on the screen is displayed with same layout as the physical keyboard. Keys on the on screen keyboard respond when corresponding keys on the physical keyboard are pressed or by the mouse.

The keyboard can be displayed with Cyrillic character phonetically, in the Russian keyboard standard or with the Latin character A-z that is used in the 1251 code page.

Cut, Copy and Paste function is supported in ANSI and Advanched text formats. With the advanched text formats text are transformed via the clipboard to and from UNICODE, Rich Text and HTML text.
