A easy to use document editor with synchronized content, outline views and scratchpad
Sense is a easy to use text editor that also allows users to manage important information. For both Outlining and more detailed preparations, the Sense Document Editor has two closely synchronized panes for full Content and Outline editing as well as an integral ScratchPad.
With extensive information cross-referencing and internet hyperlinking support, Sense provides the ideal platform for gathering information efficiently. Material may be rapidly navigated, promoted and demoted between levels and re-arranged into expandable / collapsible Headed Sections (chapters) and Multilevel Numbered Paragraph and Bullet Lists using both menu, toolbar and shortcut options.
Paragraph numbering is dynamically updated within a document-wide styling that is easily changed from selectable and part customizable formatting options. A free RTF Plugin is available for document Export which converts Sense styles to Microsoft Word compatible ListStyles and Paragraph/Heading Styles.
Multi-selection enables scattered content to be grouped speedily for both Export and Lean-Green Printing saving time, cost and environmental impact. Line and page counts plus context sensitive character and word tracking enables target limitations to be met when writing an essay.
Robust line-to-line cross-references between Sense documents are easily made without the need of establishing cumbersome and unreliable bookmarks. Bookmarks can be created when needed, though, if only for compatibility with RTF (for Microsoft Word) and HTML.
Sense intra/inter-document cross-referencing also provides time-saving benefits with its Preview feature allowing any number of linked notes to be viewed simultaneously. Separately available tools enable Sense to be used for HTML Editing and RSS Feed Authoring in plain text. On-the-fly Language selection allows multilingual editing.
