BTN Inventory is a handy application that is designed as an computer inventory program that is based on the IP address. This easy to use program gathers WMI and custom data from Windows PC’s.
There are two pieces to the product. One is the client inventory program. The other is the server database program, which can be run on a regular computer. You setup one file with the IP information of the PC on which the database is installed.
The database program records the data into the Microsoft Access database file. You can go into the database and review and manipulate the results. Some reports are already setup. You can also add your own.
The client can be run from a network share, the local hard disk or a removable storage. It can only run from a remote drive if the Visual Basic runtime files are installed on the computer (as opposed to being in the same directory) because of the size of the runtime files.
