Here are some key features of "InstantInvoice":
· Now has a "Power Find" option. This is a very powerful search and filter feature that allows users to search and filter the Invoice/ Quotation List by most common fields (columns). Users can search for items with exact matching text, matching text at the beginning or matching text anywhere. For example users can now search for invoices that contain the customer name "David" either is the first, middle or last name. Users can also search of values within a range. For example, you can now find all invoices whose total before tax was from $500 to $1000. Access this feature using the menu option : Find | Power Find.
· Custom Find" menu option has been renamed to "Quick Find"
· Quick Find" is now able to Find documents within a Date range without the need to specify a customer. Menu options : Find | Quick Find
· Quick Find" is now able to find documents within a serial number range. Menu option : Find | Quick Find | Range By Doc. No .
· Included an option to conveniently extract your invoice listing to Excel or Lotus 1-2-3 . Access this from the new Listing button just next to the payment button on the document listing form. Or by right clicking the document listing. Users can either copy the list contents to the clipboard and paste it to MS Excel or Lotus 1-2-3. Alternatively, users can also save the list contents as a Tab Delimited text file.
· Now has option to Print the document grid listing. Access this from the new Listing button just next to the payment button on the document listing form. Or by right clicking the document listing.
· Now has an option to print a batch of invoices/ quotes in one go. Access this from the new Listing button just next to the payment button on the document listing form. Or by right clicking the document listing.
· First 50 characters from the Private notes field is now displayed on the main listing to allow you to better browse through the records.
· Active row colour in the main listing has been changed to "Teal" for better visibility of the text within that row.
· Quotation List and Invoice List by customer now has an option to report on a selected customer as well as all customers.
· Outstanding Invoice list now has an option to reports on a selected customer as well as all customers.
· Customer statements now has an option to report on a selected customer as well as all customers.
· Payments By Customer now has an option to report on a selected customer as well as all customers.
· Now has the option to customize the "Unit Of Measure" pull down list. Access this using the menu option Go To | Unit Measure List .
· Adding a new Invoice from a selected Quote now inserts the "Our Ref" field from the quote to the "Our Ref" field on the new invoice if it is filled in on the original quote. If it is blank on the original quote, InstantInvoice inserts the Quotation number at the "Our Ref" field in the new invoice. Previously InstantInvoice always inserts the Quotation number in the "Our Ref" field of the invoice.
· Now has an option to specify the default payment terms for invoices and quotes. Tools | Options | Header
· Now has an option to specify the default comments for invoices and quotes. Tools | Options | Footer.
