Quick setup and clear-cut environment
The installation process does not last longer than a few seconds, and it does not bring any kind of surprise, while the interface you are met with presents a design which can only be described as being simple. It is comprised only of buttons which lead you to other details, which means that all types of users can get around it with great ease, regardless of their experience level.
Setup personnel and import information
First and foremost, you should know that Point of Sale enables you to create employee login credentials and permissions, vacation, sick days and unpaid leave, as well as input information pertaining to them, such as address, name, phone, social security number, employment title and hourly pay rate.
In addition to that, products and customers can be manually added, or imported from TXT or XLS formats. The company profile, e-mail address and business hours can be inserted, while you can configure what code opens the cash drawer.
Vendors, purchase orders and received products can be input, gift certificates, payments and invoices can be created, and there is a system in place that enables employees to punch in and out. With just a few clicks, a wide range or reports can be generated regarding the end of a work day, payables, collected taxes, refunds, labor, sales, invoices and products.
To sum up, Point of Sale is a pretty efficient piece of software and a good choice for managing your store. It does not put a strain on your computer’s performance, all tasks are performed in due time and there are sufficient options to help you keep track of all aspects of your business.
