Opcion Font Viewer

By default, Windows comes with more than enough fonts to help you design formal text structures, but even various different fun character designs, or symbols to help with different projects. If it’s difficult to choose, specialized applications like Opcion Font Viewer let you compare multiple fonts, so you decide which one best fits in your designs.

The application takes little time and effort to install, but before going on with the setup process, you’d best make sure that Java Runtime Environment is on the computer you want to use it on. If it is, there’s also the Opcion Font Viewer Portable you can use on the go.

On the visual side of things, you get to work in an intuitive panel, with a large area letting you scroll through all installed fonts on your computer, as well as a few more, to view in a text pad, and large list for easy navigation. Unfortunately, there’s no built-in search to quickly jump to a specific one.

All fonts installed on your computer are shown with a default tag so you can visualize the exact style they use. You can edit the tag to add more characters if letters are not the only items of interest. The text pad can’t be edited unfortunately, but you can turn it bold, italic, underline it, and configure size.

In case you don’t find the one of interest, you can switch to a different tab to browse your computer for a different location. What’s more, the application can remember specific fonts you select as favorites, with the possibility to also save the list. This enables you to organize them according to various project requirements.

Just like handwriting differs from one person to the other, so can fonts better describe a specific project type. Opcion Font Viewer lets you easily compare those installed on your computer, adding specific details like bold, italic, or underline, and even organize them in favorite groups.
