Displays all your installed fonts in Windows Fonts folder in an easy and elegant manner, no matter how many fonts you have.

editor's review

Windows Fonts Explorer is a simple yet useful tool that shows the installed fonts on any Windows workstation.

If there's something to praise about Windows Fonts Explorer that's definitely the interface that comes with a well-organized layout and intuitive options to target all types of users, be they beginners or those more experienced.

The clean look boasts multiple panels not only to show the installed fonts, but also to let you preview each of them by selecting size and styles. Obviously, you can choose between bold, italic, underline and strikeout, while separate buttons allow you to easily cut, copy or text in the preview window.

Another useful tool available in Windows Fonts Explorer is the search box which can prove to be very handy, especially if you have several hundreds of installed fonts.

As you can see, the application shouldn't cause too many problems to its users and although there's a help section available in the main window, no help manual is actually included. You are directed to various online sources that contain nothing more than a brief description of the software.

On the other hand, Windows Fonts Explorer works like a charm on all Windows iterations and it needs just a minimum amount of resources to work properly. It lets you pick the fonts folder, so it should be able to display the fonts regardless of the location on you computer.

To sum up, Windows Fonts Explorer is one of the tools that serve their purpose without too much effort, offering basic features addressed to beginners. It's a freebie that should be installed if you're not looking for fancy and complicated tools.
