Playing the piano is not an easy task, and the same can be also said about guitars, saxophone, violin and all the other music instruments in the world.
But Keyboard Music lets you try them all using only your keyboard, as it creates virtual versions of several instruments while offering a bunch of other handy features.
The interface is not the best we’ve seen, but it shows the full layout of the keyboard along with some built-in songs to let you practice your skills.
Keyboard Music is also able to record your song and play it, but it also has the power to export it as a MIDI file.
The application comes with multiple built-in rhythms, including tango, disco, soul, rumba, cha cha and blues, letting you not only play with the aforementioned instruments, but also to add some special effects.
There are only a few options available, but no dedicated settings menu, so you will find the app very easy to use if you know a thing or two about playing a piano.
Of course, it’s pretty obvious that it runs on low resources, so your computer won’t even know that you’re running Keyboard Music.
Still, if we were to change something about the program, we’d go for the Help menu which comes only with minimal information on how to use it.
Overall however, it remains quite an interesting solution to replace a traditional music instrument, and its decent price tag makes it a top pick.
