Algodoo for Education is a professional software application whose purpose is to help you learn physics in clean and interactive working environment.

It can be used for educational purposes, as it lets users create simulation scenes using different tools and allows teachers to conduct experiments and create lesson plans.

Although it comes bundled with a multitude of dedicated parameters, the layout is clean and straightforward.

Algodoo for Education gives you the possibility to create a new scene by selecting the color scheme, design a list with components that you are frequently using in your lessons and drag and drop them into the primary pane, as well as switch to a full screen mode for a better focus on your work.

Another notable characteristic of this tool is represented by the possibility to create lessons, save and share the lessons on Algodoo website, as well as browse and download pre-made lessons for your activities in the classroom.

What’s more, the program comprises special tools built specifically for helping you draw different objects (boxes, circles, polygons, gears, brushes, planes, ropes, and chains), while letting you rotate, scale, move, cut, or duplicate the objects.

The simulation process can be carried out by applying several physical elements, such as fluids, springs, hinges, motors, thrusters, light rays, tracers, optics, and lenses. Plus, you can set up parameters related to gravity, friction, restitution, refraction, and attraction, zoom in or out, and undo or redo your actions.

Algodoo for Education lets you select the material for each object from a pre-defined list, specify their color, make the app show names, components, values, and angles, as well as view the forces that act on objects, velocities, momentums, and scale indicators.

Last but not least, you are allowed to save the generated scene by offering information about the title, author, and description, and picking the saving directory, as well as share the scenes on the official website, provided that you have given details about your account or browse and download other scenes.

All in all, Algodoo for Education offers a complete suite of tools for helping users explore the physics world in a fun and interactive way. Although it may seem more appropriate to experienced users, rookies can master the process with minimum effort, thanks to its intuitive interface and online useful tutorials and help manual.
