Looks after children while they are playing their games

ChildCentre is designed for automatic control of the time a child spends playing his games during a day. Even if an adult is not near the child the application controls the total time and closes the program that was running if the time limit is expired. Then Child Centre does not allow to start programs during the rest of the day.

Idea of realization

The child runs his programs only from Child Centre. There should not be any child programs accessible on the Windows desktop or Start menu. Before using the program, an adult enters in ChildCentre list of programs to be run. Also the adult defines total time. The child can spend only that time, not more.

When there is 10 minutes left to the end of limited time, Child Centre sounds 4 signals with intervals of 1 second. When there is 5 minutes left, it sounds 5 signals. When there is 1 minute left, it sounds 6 signals.

The last 10 seconds are followed with 10 signals. The child has to finish the current game before time is out. If he does not do this, the game is closed by Child Centre. Then the child does not have access to the games up to the end of the current day.

The child has to be informed about sound signals - when and how many signals are sounded. It is necessary to finish a game without problems. The rest time is indicated on the panel of Child Centre. Also there is graphical indicator of the passed time.

The time is being calculated only while a game is running. It is possible to have only one program ran. If you wish to start another program, you have to close the current one. If to close itself Child Centre a current game is also closed automatically. So the normal situation if Child Centre is run while the child is playing games.
