Flash Calc 1.4
Simple design makes it easy to use
The idea behind the concept is pretty neat and the application keeps visual elements to a minimum to reduce the risk of distraction. Most of the space is represented by a custom colored background, with little to no buttons, most of the effort must be done mentally.
Multiple practice methods
There are three methods through which you can trigger lessons, exams or simple flash mental calculations. When you've had enough practice and learning with the first mode, you can move on to more advanced exercises.
In other words, if accessing the exam mode is your choice, there are twenty stages that need to be completed, each with more than one steps. On the other hand, you can fully customize the way you perform learning sessions.
Customize learning sessions
The flash mental calculations method lets you fully configure when, what and how fast numbers appear on your screen. From one to ten digits and at custom time intervals, it is all up to how fast you can sum up several numbers.
Unfortunately, the application is limited to the sum operation, with no possibility to trigger any other one. What's more, the background can only be changed to a different color with no image selection option, but this is only not to distract you from calculus.
To end with
All in all, Flash Calc can considerably influence and increase the summing skill of a youngster willing to learn. Given enough time and seriousness, the application greatly comes in handy. What's more, several customization options let you configure as you see fit, with a full screen option to completely eliminate desktop distractions.
