FinitySoft Food Additives

There are so many food products available on the market nowadays that it’s almost impossible to know which ones are harmful to your health. Of course, you can always check the list with the ingredients to see what additives are dangerous, but sometimes, this doesn’t help a lot because you may not know what e-numbers actually mean. FinitySoft Food Additives is a small software utility that offers details about each additive.

It sports a simplistic interface that can be easily mastered even by less experienced users.

The app is able to display an extensive list with food additives and you can perform several searches by selecting the additive e-number (e.g. E133, E325) or additive name (e.g. Aluminum, Biotin). It displays useful information about each additive such as health warnings, risks and if the additive is banned in certain countries.

This is a simple-to-use utility that is only capable of rendering descriptions, names, numbers, groups, animal origins and warnings into the main window of the app. It doesn’t pack other useful features that could make the entire process easier. You cannot export the data to CSV, plain text or other file formats, nor print the information. It is not possible to edit the data provided by the app by manually inserting more details about certain additives.
